Wenlock Books is so proud to congratulate Barbara Kingsolver on winning the Orange Prize for Fiction 2010 with her latest book The Lacuna. Anyone who knows us will understand how much this means to us, and how thrilled we are for Barbara to win this very important literary prize. We feel a very close connection not only with Barbara, who we have read and actively promoted for some 20 years, but also with the Orange Prize, as we joined in their Best of the Best on their 10th anniversary. On that occasion, we voted Anne Michael's Fugitive Pieces the best of ten year's worth of winners: this year's youth panel has now voted Fugitive Pieces the Best of the Best of the last 15 years!
