Jaipur - Restaurants Shropshire
Jaipur had a nice menu of the typical Indian standbys. Service is excellent. The restaurant is clean and up-to-date. Entrées are served over candlelit hotplates at the table with much fanfare. The restaurant offers take-away. Dishes marked spicy are truly spicy--not for the faint of heart. Salmon and chicken dishes were cooked properly. Neither was too tough nor undercooked. Jaipur seems to be the only Indian restaurant remaining in downtown Church Stretton, although another had been open and may reopen at any time

Olympic Torch Relay to Cross the Iron Bridge
In its 230 year history the world's first iron bridge in Shropshire has been crossed by millions of people, horses, cattle, cars, trucks, members of the Royal family and even an elephant, and on the 30 May 2012 the Olympic Flame will be crossing the famous Iron Bridge at the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site, as part of the London 2012 Torch Relay.
